On Tuesday 3 December, representatives from
Auckland University and Pagoda Projects visited Innopat to see the work carried
out by the firm and the opportunities for student interns. The meeting included
an introduction to the firm by Lily Gong as well as a record of experience by
Symrun Gakhal from the United Kingdom on the Generation UK Scholarship. This
was a great chance to share ideas and visions for the internships, as George
Easton from Auckland University, New Zealand embarks on his Innopat internship
here in Zhuhai.
Helen provided a detailed review of the
firms workings and her vision for the business in the IP field. All in
attendance shared a common view, to help students become more ‘global
citizens’. The Intern China program provides for this opportunity by allowing
students to immerse themselves in the business and culture of a Chinese city;
so when they return to their home countries they have a much better understand
of Chinese businesses to increase future cooperation.
