On November 14, the Zhuhai
Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, in association with
Innopat, Zhuhai Southern Software Park Development Co. Ltd, Ni, Wang & Massand
PLLC held a public lecture on the protection of enterprises’ foreign intellectual
property rights and the response to disputes. The lecture showcased detailed
content on IP practice and attracted the local participation of many local
enterprises such as Jafron Biomedical Co., Ltd., EWA Electric car, Enpower
Electric systems etc.
Ms. Lily Gong, Manager of the
International Department of Innopat, introduced the current situation of overseas
trademark registration layout of Chinese enterprises and the methods for trademark
registration, and further shared many overseas trademark registration
strategies using case examples.

Mr. Leo Liu, Director of International
Affairs at Innopat, explained IP rights using the Canton Fair to discuss the
methods, processes and precautions for the protection of rights in trade fairs.
This provided great practical commercial value to the participants.

In the afternoon, Tim Wang,
Partner of Ni, Wang & Massand PLLC, introduced the IP system and litigation
approach in the United States.
Using his extensive
personal experience, he explained the processes and precautions of trademark
protection in the United States. In addition, Tim also highlighted the latest IP
rights protection knowledge in the e-commerce sector.
